things might seem to be shitty now, but I know from personal experience that everything gets better, it might take time, but it always gets better. so smile through the pain :)

while you’re sitting there worrying about the little things in life, theres a soldier out there not even stopping for a second; they just continue to fight for our freedom. while you sit there and stress about school, relationships and work, a soldier’s family is stressing over the thought of their family member risking their lives and wondering if they will be returning home.while you’re sitting there crying because you’re grounded or you got a bad grade, theres a family of a lost soldier crying; they’ll never see their loved one again.
most people don’t understand that our soldiers risk literally EVERYTHING to give us freedom. they go out and fight, sacrificing their lives so we can live with the freedom we have come to know. american soldiers deserve our respect, and nothing less. it makes me sick to hear a comment come from a person’s mouth, disrespecting soldiers and what they do every day for this country. just think: where would we be now if they weren’t protecting our country. we should be thanking our soldiers every chance we get, not bad mouthing them.
so, thank you to all of those who have fought/are fighting for our country. thank you for putting your lives on the line so i can live my life free with my family and friends. thank you to the army, the marines, the navy, the air force, the coast guard. thank you to the men currently serving, and that you to the veterans. thank you to all of those who make the ultimate sacrifice. you are the bravest men and women in this country, and my heroes.
remember: “freedom doesn’t come free.” think to yourself: would you be able to go out there in battle and fight for your country? regardless if your answer is yes or no, we must thank our soldiers and veterans.
gotta admit, I’m getting sick of being single.
;)
